    We are conveniently located at Liberty Landing Marina, Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ about 7 minutes from downtown Manhattan via the Water taxi. 

Pick up and return is available at North Cove Marina, NYC for an additional $175.00 for pick up and $175.00 for return in cash per boat.

Directions To Liberty State Park
By Liberty State Park Water Taxi: Remember to take only  the Liberty State Park Water taxi (not the NY Water Taxi nor the NY Waterway).  LSP Water taxi arrives right to our marina by far the easiest and fastest way.  If taking this water taxi and your charter ends later than the last run back to NYC we will drive you to the nearest PATH station free of charge (Sea Fever Excursion customers only). The Liberty State Park Water Taxi Ferry. 


The Ferry landing dock is on the water near the Mercantile Exchange.

The Dock of the Manahattan side sits in the Hudson river. There is no address and no street for a cab to pull up to.
It sits west and slightly north of the Winter Garden at the World Financial Center and North Cove Marina.
This dock is used by both the NY waterway & the Liberty State Park Water Taxi.

The Liberty State water Taxi usually pulls into the dock on the South side of the floting dock.
South is towards theStaue of Liberty.

From North Cove Marina at the World Financial Center waterfront.

Liberty Street & South End avenue and walk to the water and North pier slightly north of North Cove marina. See above picture.
The pier is shared by the NY Waterway ferrys. There are no signs for the LSP water taxi. The LSP water taxi will dock on the left side of the pier when facing the water.

If taking this water taxi and your charter ends later than the last run back to NYC we will drive you to the nearest PATH station free of charge. PATH will quickly take you to Christopher St, 9th, 14th, 23rd & 33rd streets in NYC.

By Bus Shuttle: Shuttle service within the Park is provided at the NJ Transit marked bus stop locations on the map. Service operates daily from May 27 to September 30 every 20 minutes from7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. For schedules during the rest of the year, call 1-800-772-2222 or www.njtransit.com. Fare is $1 (senior citizens, customers with disabilities, and children 5 to 11 - $0.50)good for unlimited trips during the day of purchase. On weekends and holidays, two children may ride free with each fare paying adult. Exact fare is required.

By Light Rail: Service from Exchange Place every 7-8 minutes beginning at 5:30 a.m. daily. Connect to Bus Shuttle for your Liberty State Park Destination. Fare is $1.50 (senior citizens, customers with disabilities, and children 5 to 11 - $0.75). On weekends and holidays, two children may ride free with each fare paying adult


By Ferry: Liberty State Park Water Taxi - Direct service to Liberty State Park from New York’s World Financial Center to Liberty Landing Marina. Connect to Bus Shuttle (see above). Fare: $5.00 

By PATH Train: Make connection at Exchange Place to Light Rail. Fare: $1.75. Exact change required.

By Car: Exit 14B of the New Jersey Turnpike Extension, follow the signs to your park destination.

 

NOTE: FERRY SCHEDULES WILL CHANGE AND MAY END AT A CERTAIN TIME. We can make arrangements to drive you to the PATH station to get you back to NYC free of charge. (For Sea Fever Excursions customers only)

 

For Driving Directions

 

GPS ADDRESS - 344 Audrey Zapp Drive, Jersey City, NJ this address will lead you to the west end gate near our Dock N.

From the New Jersey Turnpike:
    Liberty Landing Marina is located in Liberty State Park minutes from the Holland Tunnel and easily accessible via the New Jersey Turnpike at exits 14B and/or 14C.  For Exit 14B, travel under the turnpike and go ¾ the way around the first traffic circle and onto Philips Drive. Continue on, passing Liberty Science Center and proceed to the end of the road. Turn right onto Audrey Zapp Drive and continue ¼ mile to Liberty Landing Marina parking lot.

For exit 14C, immediately after the toll booth and at the bottom of the ramp, go right 1 block, then turn left and proceed to the T-intersection, turning right onto Audrey Zapp Drive. Travel ¼ mile to Liberty Landing Marina parking lot on the left.

Note: On the weekends the turnpike extension is usaully backed up.

From Hoboken

Get to Observer Highway.

Make a left onto Marin Boulevard. (Marin will be before the fire house with a traffic light that will have a special left hand light)

Take Marin all the way to Grand St. Make a right on Grand.

Take Grand to Johnston.

Make a left onto Johnston.

Take Johnston past the Light Rail Station and go under the RRD bridge. Please call 201-887-8700 when you are at this point.

Johnston will turn into Audrey Zapp Drive as you enter Liberty State park.
You will notice boats on the land on your left hand side. Then a fence. At the end of the fence will be a lift gate.

Call us when you are near the marina so we can open the gate so you can avoid the parking fees.
When you are on the stone road you will see on your left, boats on the land. Then you will see a fence. At the end of the fence is a gate. That gate is the closest entrance to our slip.

From Route 3

    Route 3 east to 1&9 South (Jersey City). Continue on 1&9 South and make a right on Communipaw Ave. 

The turn for Communipaw Ave will be on your left, it is a major street in Jersey City. 

Continue on Communipaw Ave through Jersey City, you cross Kennedy Blvd. 

Continue down Communipaw Ave to the end of it.


At the end make a left. You will be near the NJ Transit Light Rail.
 

You will need to go under a overpass. It will have a light and will be on your right. Make the right.

Drive under the overpass and you will see the Liberty Science Center on your left.

Make the next left and continue to the end.

Make a right on Audrey Zapp Drive (It will be a stone road)

 

Call us when you are near the marina so we can open the gate so you can avoid the parking fees.
When you are on the stone road you will see on your left, boats on the land. Then you will see a fence. At the end of the fence is a gate. That gate is the closest entrance to our slip.
