It's fun and affordable. Meet new people!
Groups are limited to 4 per boat plus one of our Captains.
After you join, sailing will be every Saturday or Sunday at 10am
weather permitting.
After the 10 sessions you would have sailed in all
types of wind, current and weather.
Approximately 3 hours minium for each session.

The club is
a non-formal sailing club for those who enjoy sailing, want to learn to
sail or just want to brush up their sailing skills with a “hands on”
approach without the expense of owning and maintaining a boat.
No
certification is given, but time on the water will be logged
for the possibility of future certification.

Each member
will be entitled to 10 three hour sailing sessions weather permitting for Spring / Summer Group or Summer /
Fall Group or 20 three hour sailing sessions for the yearly Spring to Fall
Groups.
Bad weather
will be determined solely by the Director of Sea Fever Excursions, LLC,
Shelly Huber. Examples may be lightning, fog, heavy rain or excessive
wind. There will be times we will go out in strong wind and steady rain. |

If a
session is cancelled due to weather, members will not lose the session. It
will be added to the end of all the sessions. If a member misses a
session, there will be no “make up” session unless, by the sole
discretion of the Director, there is another group session started on
another day.
All members
will meet at dock “M” at Liberty Landing Marina, Liberty State Park,
Jersey City, NJ

We will sail SV “Sea Fever”, a Catalina
30.
This sailboat is set up for cruising.
It has a head, galley, 4 self tailing winches, bearing car traveler,
standard mainsail and furling head sail, helms wheel with auto
pilot.
Sea Fever also has a 3 cylinder diesel auxiliary engine.
We may also sail some other sailboats to experience the difference
between different types of keel sailboats. |

Lifejackets are provided.
Each member will be responsible for their personal sailing
equipment.
Some recommended but not required equipment are sailing gloves,
self inflating life vest and non slip boat shoes. |

Per couple membership is $720.00 if the couples join at the same

of the 2009 Yearly club is $1298.00 per person for the Spring / Summer
